Ike + Soren - My Only Skyby ~foxlee

I KNOW I KNOW I am super terribly boring, drawing Ike + Soren for my first FA fanart XD But you must understand, I just this week finally finished my save-transfer-secret-characters-Soren-secret-scene-and-epilogue playthrough, so I am more in love with these two than ever X3 <3 Could they be any more adorable? These days I love nothing like a grouchy little tsundere-uke.

I am SO SUPER STOKED that I actually finished this in time for a contest! I'm so shitty at getting stuff done by a deadline, I felt like a million miles tall when I saw my sketch actually worked.

It's for #Behind-the-Emblem's year-end/beginning contest. What's the deal with this scene? Well, I get kind of annoyed at Christmas contests, because the theme is always "Christmas and winter". Yeah, okay, scarves and hot chocolate are super cute, but dude I live in Australia. Christmas here means thongs, shorts, mosquitoes, and hoping no nearby trees catch on fire. So I drew a very distinctly summery theme. Sure, Tellius looks like a Northern-hemisphere-y kinda place, but since Ike and grumpybum wandered off to lands unknown (BECAUSE YOU GAVE THEM A-RANK SUPPORT LIKE A GOOD FANGIRL DIDN'T YOU?), I figured they might be anywhere I liked.

I reckon Ike just ditched all unnecessary clothing 'cus it was too hot (exactly is what Christmas is like here

) but Soren seems to have picked up a local costume to try and catch his eye. And even made his own private fireworks. Like Ike ever notices when anybody wants to jump his bones XD

Poor little man ~<3 One day Ike will realise he is the centre of your world...

(Also, I gave Ike some nice manly scars, but you basically can't see them because of the lighting. Grump >:<
