Marshal Sterling, a new Zelda character - Marshal's not a rank, though, just a first name. She normally goes by "Sterling" because it's somewhat less confusing.

Lesse, quick summary... Sterling is a Hylian knight in the Royal Guard, who may be related to ~Prince-Palladium's lady of war, Iona. Possibly she has something of an unsavoury past, or was just in too many battles she regrets. In any case, she has an unusual philosophy on combat; she tries to cause as little suffering as possible, which she achieves by causing tremendous trauma as quickly as she can. Basically, she's incredibly brutal, in order to end fights quickly. It could be called something like "perfect violence" :p

Rarely seen without her armour, halberd and badge, as above. Oh, and she's generally mistaken for a handsome man, especially since she's over six feet tall. Unlike Sendari, who would totally abuse that misconception, Sterling is actually rather uncertain of her sexuality and doesn't really know what to do when girls think she's dreamy ;p

I KNOW, this is a most shameless ripoff. But it's not like Reishi is ever going to fit into the Zeldaverse >3>; And I wanted a Royal Guardsman, damnit. At least they have somewhat different personalities.

I'm rather proud of that halberd.

Thank you X3 I'm quite proud of it. I've never been good at armour design, so I feel like this is a big step forward for me :D

Pfft, well, she definitely looks male, just saying. XD

I guess she handles fighting same as Tel, finish as quick as possible. :v

And dude, I wooouuullddd definitely feel short if I stood next to her. :'D

I really like the idea of an attractive strong female character who gets confused for a male. I've noticed usually when people make a character that is female and gets confused for male she is ugly.
